What does all that mean?
So we just listed off all the position names in hebrew..a little confused who does what? no fear here is a quick
run down.
Godol= president; in charge of running meetings, presiding over the chapter and board, represents chapter at regional
meetings and events, keeps advisors informed, responsible for chapter programming
Sgan/Sganit= vice president of programming; in chare of coordinating 6-fold/5-fold programming, assumes godol's responsibilities
in absence, responsible for quality of chapter's programming,
Moreh/Morah= vice president of membership; in charge of the 3 R's: Retention, Recruitment, Reeducation, teaches new members
about the traditions and history of BBYO, BBG, AZA, and Mar-Win, keeps a prospective list and calls them about events and
meetings.
Shlicha= jewish heritage, social action, community service; promotes all programs under shlicha folds, program on and
promote awareness of issues involving Israel, ensuring that Shabbat services and Hadvallah are done appropriately at events,
plans the Jew spot.

Mazkirah- corresponding secretary- keeps updated member roster and calls members about all events and meetings.
Katvanit- recording secretary- takes minutes at all meetings, updates website with minutes, sends minutes to regional
Kat/Giz, makes creative minutes.
Gizborit= treasurer- handles all chapter finances, collects money at events, promotes RSF and ISF, creates fundraisers
for the chapter, in charge of drivers fund.
Orechet= newspaper; creates and publishes a chapter newspaper.
Safranit= historian; takes pictures at ALL chapter and regional events; creates a chapter scrapbook, and updates website
with pictures.
Shotare Godol- Sergeant at arms; keeps peole quiet at all meetings and events.
Machshev= webmaster; in charge of making website
Madricha= past president; gives advice to current president when necessary
